Mission Complete! Game Changers 2023 Mayari's Birthday Subathon feat. PNG Vtuber Debut for Charity!

 My cherished Game Changers guild members,

I quite honestly don’t know where to begin <3 Thank you, everyone who showed up, everyone who donated, everyone who supported, everyone who raided or shared news of the charity 48 hr subathon / PNG Vtuber debut~ Because of all of YOU- together the Game Changers Guild raised a total of $2,596.30 for the Trevor Foundation which aids in suicide prevention for Trans / LGBTQ+ youth by means of crisis support, advocacy, research, and education. 

I’m proud that this community is centered in learning how to be unconditionally loving by including everyone in face of all different identities- whether that is race, faith, ability- gender and sexual orientation is no exception. Everyone deserves to live in their authenticity, and be loved for who they truly are- just as you all continue to show me everyday, so I’ll continue to match and grow that kind of energy~ There are countless beloved people in our community who face adversity simply for how they identify or for who they choose to love. They deserve every bit of happiness just like any other community member. Our efforts don’t stop here, just as it warms my heart to see you support each other- I hope we can offer that same energy outside our community in any situation we face, by standing up or supporting the voices of the queer people. By the way you all ask questions or how you treat others with consideration by making space for said voices, I am enthusiastic of where we are headed~

And hope isn’t misplaced, y’all are fucking absurd, we not only did we eclipsed the full goal within only an hour and a half into stream (AND BEFORE THE DEBUT) but we also went above and beyond to the point where we nearly doubled the success of last year’s charity! “You never see it coming~” truly makes the perfect stream alert in this community cuz I was legit not prepared for that- as it remained evident on my face and by my lack of ability to utter a coherent sentence haha.

I don’t know if my body finally gave in from the weeks of strain trying to get this event as polished as y’all deserve or it was the sheer shock from the charity goal annihilation but you all were so sweet and understanding when I got really, like REALLY sick halfway through the 48 hours >m< but it’s no surprise that spending time with y’all made me feel better though through: showcasing the new PNG Vtuber model, making a community constellation map, playing Pico Park having Pico Park play us, sit in a corner and cower during Devour, and still get my emotional ass whooped by the toughest boss in Undertale…the tear jerking “It’s you!” mirror scene and toasting the completion of a successful charity stream. I truly cannot picture a better way to spend my birthday than dedicating it to a good cause alongside you all and creating new memories~ and thank you for all the birthday wishes / cards through stream chat- it was really encouraging to read from my bed when resting TmT

With the actual PNG Vtuber debut itself- it was my first time trying virtual streaming AT ALL and figured it would be a good solution to wanting to expand the reach of my expressions without feeling restricted by judgment and overthinking my self image while having the camera on. It comes with some hiccups since I’m new to the programs and scuff is my best friend sometimes~ but I can earnestly say I was comfortable and having fun trying something new despite making mistakes. Which is a first. It’s usually painful to be in places in which I’m struggling in front of others- afraid of what kind of image I’m displaying in fear of being rejected. Streaming with the Game Changers is different- the unconditional love I believe all of you deserve is something you reciprocated many times over while I am still growing. For that I truly can never thank you enough. It gives me the determination to combat each day so kind reminder if y’all feel weak or insignificant, reassess that because y'all are my Game Changers with how you changed my life for the better…keep looking up because you never truly know how much of an impact you make on others and this world~
