Mayari's First Character Model? Now as we get ready for the debut of my regular character model for content creation- I did want a to have a casual or chibi model that would serve as a stand in for both transitioning my content from predominately facecam / irl to a hyrbrid format, as well as generating interest for the charity subathon featuring said debut on March 19th of this year! Mayari has been my chosen name for a while, my real middle name only being the letter "M" because of a birth certificate mishap from my mom- I felt like it was fitting. The story of Mayari in Filipino mythology resonates with me heavily and my own story and even touched my heart. Hopefully I can share that story with you next March! I asked my artist to go for simpler designs and relatively covered up as to keep a majority of the character a secret~ Embracing Filipino culture and history is something I found to be empowering especially in my adolescence as it grounded me to know
